Our first Sumire opened in Tokyo in June 2009. At that time, the image of yakitori was mostly for men to enjoy drinking beer and sake in the grill bar. Dining Innovation Group believes that it would be better if more people could enjoy the food. So we brought the concept of Sumire to the general public, including office workers, couples and families, etc., who can easily enjoy the good dining atmosphere and service of grilled chicken. Therefore, we changed the concept of the restaurant from a barbecue wine bar to a skewer restaurant. The origin of the restaurant name is "Sumire" because the word "smile" in Japan is called "Su-Mi-Le", we think it is a very familiar name, so we named it "Sumire Yakitori House" . Sumire Yakitori House hopes to promote the "smile is priceless" tenet, including food and service that will bring smiles to everyone's face. As of today, we have more than 80 stores in Japan from north to south, and Sumire Yakitori House (Singapore) opened in 2013. Prices are kept reasonable and customers can enjoy good value Japanese cuisine.
